[HowTo] Install and configure Oleg's firmware

I have a very simple question. Is wireless client working properly on the latest fw??

I tried a lot of configs and I didn't manage to get it working.

access point mode.
same ssid and same encryption (wpa2 +aes)
extended mode (ethernet bridge and station)


Does anyone have the correct configuration for this to work?

You should have a look at /opt/sbin.

the whole evening my torrents are standing

Checking files... 12.68 % Start: 24 Aug 14:17 End: 25 Aug 22:42 uploaded:

also when i push a Queued torrent he will tell me:

Checking files... 0.00 % Start: 25 Aug 23:07 uploaded: 0.0 MB

but, after 1 hour, he will give me the same information.
i cannot push it, because the torrent has to be suspended. So the only thing is to remove the torrent. ( but i won't remove it )

What can i do?

i am still using an old version and did not upgrade.
Maybe i will do some research to solve your probs. But this will take some days.

The main question: Will we use transmission or transmissiond in future?

The transmission we know until now is called transmissiond in future. (Version 1.22 atm)
The new transmission (Version 1.33 atm) comes with clutch as webinterface

The latest version of Transmission works for me really good, so I think I'll start using it. It is really rich in features, really fast, no big cou resource needed, so I've got only good experience with it! ;

I think what he ment is:
when you are using a client like bitcomet, you can select wich files to download from the torrent.
torrents can describe multiple files (as you probably know), so sometimes you only want to download a small file, and not all the files, wich would take hours

after an upgrade/update from 1.22 to 1.33 transmission went bad:

"Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."
how I fix this thing?

would you be so kind add your tutorial , installing mediatomb media server ,I've been trying to install from another thread http://www.wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=13963 , but have no luck allways get error " terminate called after throwing an instance of 'zmm::Exception' ".

Until then i will use the transmissiond package in the howtos.

Sorry, but i will only add things to the howto if i am using them myself.
This is the only way to give a good support.
No media server on my wl-hdd means no media server in the howto.
You will have to use other howtos in this board.
