Noup, 239$ when it comes to europe it stays almost the same price 239€ ~ with taxes, convert 94.22$ from the RT-N16 and see how many € are, 69€ can you buy it that price? No you can't RT-N16 costs in Europe 100€ ~
RT-N66U will cost more than 200€ i bet 220-230€
Anyway 82.90 is not 69€ bahh. You will see when it come out don't expect less than 200€. RT-N16 has a great price in your country, are you talking about store or retailer? Where you buy that price? Here the lowest price is 94€, like i said before is the same as 94 dolars. It was always like that, at least in my country.

Now the router has 128MB great Maybe when it comes out has 64MB... LOL
First tests:
with beta firmware:
LAN to WAN - 510mbps
WAN to LAN - 548mbps
2.4ghz down - 56mbps
5ghz down - 89mbps
no time to test vpn
What a disapointment, RT-N56U has almost the double benchmarking with Ralink CPU 500MHZ or even Linksys E4200 with same same CPU from RT-N16 (BCM4718), weird stuff. :S

well... it's still beta firmware.
according to the broadcom specs the hardware nat should be able to reach ~900mbits
wifi sounds solid.
lol, and that fan is just epic
dd-wrt developers still confirm it's 256MB ram tho

RT-N66U may not have a BCM4706 but a BCM5300(3) instead, looking to these linux line:
system type: Broadcom BCM5300 chip rev 1 pkg 0

RT-N66U should perform almost the same since HW specs are almost the same.

USB transfer could be better, but we will see it soon.
Looks good to me.
I'm impressed by the wifi speeds
and to be honest... 11MB/s isn't that bad either. What I want to see is the EXT3 performance tho, it's more lightweight I guess.
So far the speed still slightly topped over my expectations, so I can't wait
Seems like the supplier was wrong about the release date tho, the stores still say 1-2 weeks after 1-2 weeks
I guess that depends, im using a Atheros Mini-PCI Express on my Atom Router and its running just fine in range and speed. If you use the same chip of a router i guess it dont make a difference on a ATOM.
