Hi all,
I'm reading a lot of threads where performance of the wl500gx is waaaay too low. In 1 thread the poorly written USB2.0 driver is blaimed.
However, I'm not (yet) interested in the SAMBA performance. The performance when using swap-space is more relevant (for my web-server).
So my question is: Did anyone test the performance with the USB2.0 without using the LAN? Eg: copying a file from one portion of the external disc to another portion, and measuring the speed.
(I don't have a deluxe, hence my question)
If this speeds reaches the USB2.0 theoretical speed, it would solve a lot of issues I'm now having with swapping and performance.
