Restore mode

I want to upgrade my firmware to dd-wrt but when I put the router in restore mode and use the firmware recovery utility the utility times out and says "No wireless device in recovery mode is found". I have tired to static ip 192.168.1.2. I tried to disable all network connections but the routers. I have tried it on several other computers but all the same.

in my setup the recovery mode only works when the pc running the restoring tool has ip-adres 192.168.1.10

You might want to try that.
