Hi,

It would be interesting for me, witch more technical details has the router AUSUS WL-500g premium. I find that the AUSUS product page is very short for specific details. There is no user/product or administration guide ready to download?

So I have some questions about this router.

Does the USB port supported all printers (print server) or has the device the same negative printer list as some NETGEAR machines?

Is that possible to get the WPA2 function with a new firmware release or is that a fix hardware constraint?

Is that possible to switch off the WLAN function at the box?

How does it look like with the VPN function as (IPSec, L2TP, PPTP VPN-passthrough, IPSec)? Are these functions available?

I think it should be a problem to connect any type of printer, on usb of course

No you can only switch off wlan from router configuration page.

How does it look like with the VPN function as (IPSec, L2TP, PPTP VPN-passthrough, IPSec)? Are these functions available?

Asus Germany have confirmed that VPN Passthrough PPTP und VPN Passthrough IPSec is supported. See message below in German.
