    It can be used to monitor the status of the router such as CPU load, amount of traffic on WAN port, etc. It can be also used to steer functionalities of the router such activate/deactivate wireless, block WAN port, etc via the virtual keyboard of the screen, e.g. key "W" to activate/deactivate wireless (just as an example!). The General Purpose Outputs (see PalmOrb FAQ) can be used to indicate or flag activities or abnormal situations on the router, e.g. disk full.
