Help, USB flash doesn't work.

What may be reason of problem with USB flash drive?

Same story with my FlashDrive (Transcend USB 2.0 JetFlash 256 MB) Errors in syslog slightly different (see below). Firmware is custom 1.9.2.7 CR3c

Is it fatal? - I mean it is better to change stick - or am I doing smthg wrong?

Did you enable "ftp-server" ?
had a similar prob caused by a disabled one.
enabled it, rebooted and it worked

Well, looks like some incompatibility (probably due to ancient kernel). Replacing the stick with USB 1.1 one should help, also sticks from other vendors could also work.

Hook that stick up to a windows machine and reformat it, it might be a corrupted fat table or something stupid like that.
