    Unhappy Samba login problem

    Hi

I recently set-up samba2 and everything works fine except a smal problem I stumbled upon. The server shows up both on my mac and in windows as the name "Linux" that I gave it, but I can't sign in with the user information I added during the configuration. But here is where things also get weird.

If I telnet to the router from the terminal in mac os x, I can then sign in to the samba server as well, but it shows the whole system of the router and not the shared folder. I don't really now where I messed up but have tried to solve this problem by my self for a while now.

Think it could have something to do with that samba deny my macbook from signing in even if I have the right permissions to do so? I can't sign in from windows at all, gives me message about wrong password?

Edit: Problem solved for now. Can only access samba shared folders in mac os x but not in windows? Well, don't need windows anyway so fine with this for now
