HFS should be a problem for the router. However, if you use Mac OS X you can mount ext2/3 partition to it. See e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsx/

Just a quick question. If I have an external HD drive... Can I then format it to HFS+ and use it with my Apple Mac? Or can I only use FAT32/NTFS hard drives?
