Hi,

I was hoping somebody here may be able to point me in the right direction, or suggest a suitable network topology.
I require rudundancy on my home-hosted websites. I have 2 DSL connections, and Dynamic DNS to point the hostname to one of the DSL IP adresses.
However, when one connection fails, I need to manually update my internal network settings, and update dyndns.
What I need is a single firewall, and 2 internet connections, with outgoing requests load balanced across the 2 connections, and incoming requests defaulting to 1 DSL connections, but going to the other when the first one fails.

I dont know how to 'join' the 2 DSL connections into 1 IP address for the internal network.

Also, I need all this running on 2, or 3 linksys routers (not a full PC, for power consumption reasons).

Can anyone suggest what I need hardware-wise, and what software tools will do the job? I have limited understanding of ipchains, and ipfw, but I assume they can be configured somehow to simulate 2 'gateways'?

Thanks

- Adam
