Wirless DNS problem
I have my WL500g (1.7.5.6) configured to access to internet via WAN port. I have 2 LAN clients configured in 192.168.1.* network, DHCP manual address according MAC. In the same range I have added Wireless client. All firewalls are disabled.
All clients (LAN, Wireless) get correct IP according MAC and DNS entries. LAN clients working perfectly but Wireless client can connect to internet only via direct IP because DNS is not working. Equivalent problem is connection to LAN in Microsoft Network/SAMBA.
It seems that responses to DNS server are cut off on router-router blocking UDF packets going to back Wireless, see log below.
Note: All firewals are disabled, I don't want two local networks 192.168.1 and 192.168.2 that is to configure when Wireless firewall is enabled.
DNS request dump when connected using LAN (OK):

Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance. Maybe can help firmware upgrade but there is no available change log.

Hmm, I'm no master in this, but shouldn't your wireless and LAN networks be in a different range like 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x? This is because both networks are NATted AFAIK.

But I think there is no reason not get UDF response when TCP works. I can connect to Google via http://216.239.57.99/. It seems there is an unplanned firewall Router->Wireless.
Note the same problem when I setup router as first DNS server (192.168.1.1).

please upgrade to a newer firmware
i'm using wireless and wired in the same subnet for years
it has always worked for me since I have the wl500g

I have upgraded firmware 1.7.9.5-CR5 and it's absolutely the same - UDP responses are blocked.
I even try setup wireless to the same range of address (192.168.1.*) - it's really nonsense and I had to reset router to factory defaults promptly.
Finally I try setup two networks 192.168.1.* as LAN and 192.168.2.* as WLAN. 2 DHPCs, all firewals disabled. In this configuration WLAN card don't receive any packet, XP wireless notification periodically announces new network and interface don't obtain IP, gateway and DNS.

So I switched wireless firewall and DHCP again to previous state and WLAN connects to internet. It's probably neccesary trigger by enable/disable a config options to write to etc?.
