    Exclamation Firmware v1.8.1.9

USE THIS FIRMWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Firmware for the WL-300g can be found here:

    http://www.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireles..._WL300g_EN.zip
    http://www.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/wire..._WL300g_EN.zip
    ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/wirel..._WL300g_EN.zip
    http://www.asuscom.de/pub/ASUS/wirel..._WL300g_EN.zip
    http://www.asus.it/pub/ASUS/wireless..._WL300g_EN.zip
    ftp://www.asus.it/pub/ASUS/wireless/..._WL300g_EN.zip

    Changelog:
    currently not known

    important!!
When upgrading from 1.7.x.x based firmware: you MUST Reset your WL300g to defaults via the restore button at the back when the power is already on after upgrading to this firmware!

you do not have to do this when you upgrade from 1.8.x.x based firmware!
but it is suggested when you encounter problems

Do not import saved settings from older/other firmwares! this can cause unstability to your device

anybody else tried this one ??

i had to reset the AP to it's defaults because i couldn't log in as 'admin' anymore. not with the password i set and not with the default password ... so i had to set it up again completely ; WEP, MAC-filter etc.

and it thinks it's Jan 1 1970 ... ('date -s' command doesn't seem to work).

    use : http://<ip-address>/Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp
you can then give Linux commands - this was first used for the WL-300g power-hack.

    edit : use 'date 100622522004' (mmddhhmmccyy) to set date/time to 6 oct 2004 22:52
