Well, the boxset is light (may be less than 1 kg?) but shipping products with encryption technology may have some concern?

But I feel wired that the adaptor I got is printed for Europe and English menu, not Asia/Taiwan style. May be it is shipping from Holland?

Based on the speed results i would say it has the same CPU as the WL-500g

No, cpu is different and faster. Chip should be labeled as BCM5365P.

Also, USB 2.0 appears to be Via VT6202 - up to 4 ports.
