SAMBA Username and Password

Hi all,

Yesterday I had to reset the router, so now everything is back to the beginning. I just configured SAMBA again. But i'm not gonna set everything to /opt right now. So I was wondering if password protection is possible when you've mounted your HDD to /tmp/harddisk. If it is possible, can you explain me how?

I asked this question before, but that was when everything was mounted on /opt. I tried the steps for /opt , but that didn't work.
