Hey Kaloz, i'm interested in building the openwrt for the asus wl-500g, can you guide me? What do i have do modify

Sure. Just go with the original way, and when it's finished, delete the two .bin files, the root_fs_mipsel file and the .trx file. then edit and comment out the resetmon check in buildroot/build_mipsel/root/etc/preinit , and re-run make. That trx will work on the asus. If you forget that step, it will work, but it will go into safe-mode, and will add the wan to the bridge.
