    Question ftp's problem from wan side

    ftp can login till "list" command
    the files & directorys can not be list
    then time out...

    it can work well from lan side...

    Asus wl-500g
    oleg 1.9.2.7-7f Firmware
    already try:
    Enable FTP Server? yes
    Enable Virtual Server? yes
    Respond Ping Request from WAN? yes

    ps:also turn off wl-500g's firewall

    the problem still...

    PASSIVE mode maybe

    This is very strange...

    What type of ftp client you use? System built-in ftp command or something like TotalCommander ftp client?

    Check if you are using "passive mode". This can help . Also be sure that you have configured proxy server(if you use one).
