... In Olegs Firmware bis Version 1.9.2.7-7g ist ein Fehler: Wenn Du NICHT DHCP verwendest, also eine feste IP Adresse vergeben hast, funktioniert Dein DNS nicht. Ab Version 1.9.2.7-8 lässt sich dieser Eintrag über das Webinterface machen.

Wo kann ich den die Version 1.9.2.7-8 downloaden?
Habe im Firmware Wizzard leider nichts finden können.

Hi,

im HowTo habe ich extra einen zweiten Link eingefügt.
Es dauert immer mehrere Wochen, bis die neu releasten Firmwares auch im Wizzard landen.
Warum das so ist weiss ich auch nicht.

vergeßt nicht, den telnetd zu killen, sonst macht es ja wenig sinn, auf den ssh zu gehen, wenn der telnet noch erreichbar ist

Hallo Wengi und alle anderen hier,

wenn ich mir die Infos zu Olegs neuester Firmware 1.9.2.7 CR9 anschaue, dann kommt es mir so vor, als ob einige der im HowTo installierten Programme und Module jetzt gar nicht mehr nötig wären (z.B. Samba f. Vista und die RTC, also vor allem der ganze Punkt 10).

Sehe ich das richtig?

P.S. Samba selbst zu installieren wie im HowTo erklärt hat allerdings den Vorteil, dass es nur bei Bedarf geladen wird (s. Punkt 15)

Hallo Wengi habe da ein Problem. Nach einem Stromausfall ist mein Server komplett platt gewesen und ich muß alles neu machen. Ich komme bis zu dem Punk IPKG installieren und dort habe ich das Problem das er nix installiert. Es kommen eine Menge Fehlermeldungen (unbekannter Host ect.). Wenn ich dann ipkg list_installed eingebe zeig er mir nichts an. schaue ich aber mit dem ls Befehl nach finde ich zwei Dateien (ipkg-opt und uclibc-opt).
Woran kann das liegen ? Was mache ich falsch ?

Hallo an alle,

da ja nun die nächste Version (g) der Firmware da ist habe ich eine einfache Newbie-Frage.
Kann ich das Update einfach drüberbügeln?

Also:
- runterladen, entpacken
- Im Webinterface Firmware aktualisieren
- Neustart
und fertig?

Meine IPKG Installation bleibt intakt?
Kann ich die aktuelle Firmware mit allen Konfigurationen sichern, bevor ich das Update mache? Wie?

Hmm habe alles gemacht sieht auch soweit ganz gut aus aber die Webinterfaces von Samba und torrent laufen nicht.
Aber das normal Webinterface des Routers funktioniert

1. Ist in Deiner post-boot '/opt/etc/init.d/rc.unslung' eingetragen?
2. Poste mal bitte ein 'ls -la /opt/etc/init.d/'.
