How to compile Asus Source v1.9.7.0?

    Hi,
does anybody here know how to compile
    the Asus sources for v1.9.7.0?

I downloaded the complete package and decompressed
the archive. I added the compilerchain to my path.
Then I opened the shell and changed into the
directory ./src/ where I started make
like the readme described. The result is a quick bunch
    of warnings, nothing else.
Since the readme and the makefile comes from Broadcom
I guess this makefile might not work anymore after
Asus changed it. So I changed into the ./src/router/
    directory and started "make image-WL500gp".
The compile process worked a lot longer, but it only
produced a lot more warnings before it aborts the
build process before creating an image.

    Whatīs wrong here?

I did not get an answer...

Therefor I changed my router (V1) to OpenWRT Backfire,
which is a fully configurable Linux OS on the router, which
    offers a lot of advantages.

    Just to mention a few:
    Having
    - midnight commander,
    - samba server
    - FTP server
    - OpenVPN server
    - ssh2 telnet server
all at once on the Router is quite comfortable.

    Best regards
