Hi all,

I have a WL-138g running under Windows XP. If installing all the Asus drivers and utilities, I have a problem: a process and service uses for the wireless card a lot of CPU, much more than applications.

The only workaround I found is totally uninstall Asus utilities and drivers (so, the service is also removed), and add the card manually using the extracted drivers files from the package, so Windows XP takes care about network to connect, signal quality, WPA and so son.. but, doing this, from time to time, if the wireless router or the cable modem resets, or there is some problem for a forced wireless disconnect, a blue and dead Windows stop shows.

I noted Asus does not update the drivers or the utilities for this card from a long time ago... does someone have this type of problem? Is there any location or alternate and updated driver set to use for Windows XP 32-bit?

Thanks. Regards.
