In the DHCP settings assign an IP for each of your devices MAC address.
I want to connect a number of embedded devices to my WL500gx. Each device should be assigned an IP address depending on the LAN port it is connected to.
Does anybody know if it is possible to configure the WL500gx in such a way that this occurs. I have tried tweaking with dnsmasq and ifconfig, but I can't find the solution to my problem. I am running Oleg 1.9.2.7-7e.

The Struggle Continues...
Asus WL500g #1 with fw 1.9.2.7-7f running as main home gateway, with Philipps PWC730k
Asus WL500g #2 with fw 1.9.2.7-7f running as Wireless Client, running palantir 2.6 with SPCA5xx camera on 128MB generic USB key
@max2950: Unfortunately this will not do for me, because I will be replacing the devices all the time with new ones (I will be using it for programming and testing the devices). So I really need an IP assignment based on the connected port.
I have never done it myself since I use a WLHDD which has only one ethernet port, but maybe it might be an idea to use Virtual LANs on each of the ports.
The robocfg command, which can be used to do this, is included in Olegs firmware.
A list of commands in the OpenWRT wiki:

Good luck
