i want to install that new driver in Win98SE ... there is a 'win98' directory in the zip file, but the .inf file says : "Windows XP, 2000 NDIS driver INF" ... ?!

any experience here with using this driver in Win98 ??

The inf file for w98 is indeed not correct. I tried to install it anyway using some workarounds, but no succes. Also the latest version of the utilities which includes the new driver file will not install properly on w98

If anyone has a proper inf file for w98 please post it here

    Unhappy

I tried to install this driver, but as soon as I switch to SoftAP mode, the program hangs, and I can't reboot anymore and the led from the WLan card is flashing very fast.

The only way to startup again is to remove the WLan card or remove the .sys drivers in the c:\windows directory manualy.

Does anyone have tried the soft AP mode with succes?
