USB HDD - problem

Hi. I have a problem with my Premium router and USB HDD (2,2 GB). When i plug this hdd to the router first i dont see it in the network neighborhood (sharing is enabled) and second the router sometimes restarts with all default options. Do You know why this is happening? Without usb hdd plugged everything is ok.

When HD is hot-plugged in, the router needs to be restarted.
