    [USB] USB Hubs

    Nobody seemed to know that a USB Hub does work, until Justwords tried it with a generic usb hub.

    The idea is to create in the near future a database with reported working and non working devices

    please report here if you have a device that WORKS or does NOT WORK

    please also report if you have upgraded and the device stays working or not

    your post should look like this: (this is an actually working product I own)

    note: don't use power supply with this usb hub, usb devices seem to halt when doing this.

    I knew it worked, just a question, is a usb hub really a unit that need to be installed? I didn't know it used any drivers and thought it was kind of a "passive" unit. I may be wrong though.

    i don't know much about usb, the thing i know is that some 'hubs' did not seem to work, because they had other hardware onboard (serial rs232 etc..)
