Hello guys.

I just bought an new WL-500gP and i've found out this forum through other IT forum i walk around..

However I'm a bit confused about how to put WL500 with Oleg's firmware (if it exists)

can someone point me some threads I should read to be "introduced" to the router/firmware ?

Please note that there have been some problems with the firmware versions meant for the Premium, so they have been taken down. You can still get any of the other versions, but I don't know how well they work on the Premium.

but as Pse said, there have been some problems where routers died, so be aware of this before installing this FW. See here for more info:

well one thing i noticed with asus fw is that the router sometimes is way slow, specially accessing to the usb hdd... I'll try to do the update tonight and see how it goes...

btw if the router "dies" the pin9 trick solves the problem right?
