    Angry Problems Setting up WL-HDD

    Hi All,

Ive been reading all the threads and find them very helpfull.

Anyway Ive just purchased a WLHDD and cannot get it to work on my home network. I am using a Edimax Wireless Router and the WLHDD is using the 1.2.3.9 firmware. I have setup the Wireless in AP, WDS & Hybrid and none of them will connect. I have tried updating the Firmware to 1.9.2.7 and I can then get it to be seen on the network but then it says the drive is write protected. Is there a setting i am missing i would like to keep it on th 1.2.3.9 firmware but as long as i can get it working i dont care.

    Please Help

Hi, what worked for me was switching off "Become AP if none can be detected".

Although I still don't know how to make it work with encryption!
