Thread: traffic monitoring ?

    traffic monitoring ?

    hi!

I searched for such an application in the internet and in this forum, but could not found what I'm looking for.

Is there any client-tool available which shows the actual bandwith-consumption (and maybe the router's load/mem) ? E.g. an icon in the taskbar which recieves its information via snmp? The tool should generally available for windows-OS, but any linux-recommendations are welcome.

As an example you could take a look at http://www.fli4l.de/download/zusatzpakete/imonc.html
This is a graphical client for monitoring the fli4l (PC) router. It should give an idea what I'm looking for :-)

Thanks a lot in advance for any hints!

    cheers,
    markus

PS: thanks to Oleg (and his team) for the great work!!!

Try SNMP monitoring tool like PRTG for remote bandwith monitoring or install nload from Optware.
    Code:
    nload -o 384 -i 1024 -u k -t 10000 br0
