The user manual for bandwith management is included in older driverpacks from Asus.
But despite the manual and the latest firmware it does not seem to work...
As I understand bandwidth management does not work together with Access Point mode because with it the WL500g is acting like a switch.
The reason why it is operating in Access Point mode is that it is connected to another (ADSL modem) router which has no wireless capability.
So what can I do to still be able to use the bandwidth management?
If I try to set up my adsl modem router as a bridge, do I need to provide my ISP account user/password in the Asus (in Home Gateway mode)?
Does anyone have a suggestion what would be the best to do to get BM working? Thanks you very much!
