Hi there,

I have a big problem here: One of my WL-300g APs is in a reboot loop! Recover mode is still working, but no firmware flashed with the firmware restauration tool or with a TFTP client will boot up without the reboot loop... (OpenWRT RC5, Asus 1936, Oleg 1927-7c)

I unfortunately flashed the wrong firmware and so I bricked the AP. But since the recover mode can still be entered, there should be a possibiliy to get the AP back to life again!?

I've read that there is a possibility to recover the WL-500g in this case, but the two files mentioned (wl500g-clear-nvram.trx and wl500g-recover.trx) won't work with the WL-300g, I think. Perhaps someone can send me the right files for my WL-300g?! (I've also read that clearing the NVRAM on WL-300g is not safe, because default values won't be restored by the bootloader! Is this true? How can I clear the NVRAM to defaults then?)

Thank you for your help!

Peace,
OllieW
