AIR LED off

After upgrading my WL500gx from 1.8.x.x to 1.9.5.0 (or Oleg's latest), the AIR LED is not lit anymore. I remember I saw someone having the same problem on this forum, but there were no answers as per why this happens.

Is it a bug or a feature? I thought the AIR was supposed to be lit when the wireless interface is online, blinking when there's traffic, and off if the interface is turned off. Isn't it supposed to be so?

Looks like you've flashed a firmware for different unit.

Nope, WL-500g Deluxe with Wl-500g Deluxe firmware.

The AIR light was, however, lit again after performing a reset-to-defaults from router's web interface. But after flashing it with the official 1.9.5.0 again (thinking of taking it back to the store, that's why), the AIR light went off again.

I have the same problem with 1.9.5.0, Oleg's works just fine, wireless seems to work though.

Also after upgrading to 1.9.5.0 I had problem connecting to the WLAN using the Windows build-in configuration program. After switching to Ralinks's (WL-107g / Ralink RT2500) reference driver everything works again.

For me it helps to change the Powersupply. At this time I changed 3 of 4 Powersupplies of my Routers and in every time it works after that. Try it new powersupply costs 5€ @ http://www.conelek.com/Messgeraete/S...eil_230V_AC_DC
