I tried asking Asus directly, but got no answer so far.

Is it in production, or perhaps what we have here is just technology preview, and the device is not on the market yet?

If so, any estimates when we'll be able to buy it?

yes, it really exist!!

It is on the market, but not in europe till now.
(You can only buy it in Taiwan till now).

I think you will see it in this forum, when it's available in europe.

Well - I wouldnt pay much attention to future dates.

We have been hearing dates 1-2 months in the future since back in October or something like that.

Hello.. I am from Taiwan.
WL-700gE was available in Taiwan, and I could buy that everywhere.

It was USD $275, included a 160G Hitachi hard drive.
There is no "none-disk" pack on market.

The official GPL firmware source code is not released yet, so I didn't go to buy that to replace my WL-500g now.
