I am using a WL-500g with Olegs firmeware, and I am very happy - thanks a lot to Oleg!!!
beside this I am working on a project for lightcomputing, for this the best would be a WL-500g Deluxe, but it must be with Kernel 2.6, because for the USB devices, there is only 2.6 drivers available. With a netgear WGT634U and the openwrt with Kernel 2.6 (http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/...etgear/WGT634U) which is quite similar to the WL-500g Deluxe (http://wiki.openwrt.org/TableOfHardw...224fe9c18f3603) it is working. (but the Asus would fit much more - I need 2 USB 2.0 and it is much cheaper).
I did not find anything about a firmware with Kernel 2.6 for the Asus - so I am asking, if there are plans to work on this?
best regards
