Hello,
I am not at home these days, so I can't test it but it could be caused by working mode of the router - is it station?
did you mean "Extended Mode:" ? it is set to "AP or WDS"
NICE!!! I like it very much
U should make it when u click on the SSID, automaticly to connect to that WLAN
I tried AsusMon, but am not sure how to use it ... ??
Does it have to run on a PC connected over wireless to the AP (WL-300g in my case), or on any PC in the LAN (wired) ??
I only get 'Disconnected' on the status line :-(
using : WL-300g, WL-100g & WL-138g

Please open telnet connection to your WL500GX, log in and type "wl scan" and "wl scanresults" and send me the text of the session. I will look at it. Or enable logging in the tool and send the log file created. Thanks
i got the wl500g not deluxe is this maybe the reason?

The router must be in Client mode (Extended mode "Station") first or you have to change the mode via Telnet to client and back (but AP of course stops working for a while):
wl ap 0
wl scan
wl scanresults
wl ap 1
or
wl ap 0
wl scan
sleep 1
wl scanresults
wl ap 1
if it works please let me know. I will soon adapt the tool to handle different working modes.
Here is new version for AP mode that switches automatically to client mode and back. Note: it interrupts AP mode. (old file removed)

now it is working, thx
Can you add the funktion to scan with "passive"? (wl scan -t passive)
(is not important but would be nice )
and what is the difference between "station" and "AP" mode?
I hope this is final version: for all modes, with passive scanning option.
Details about operation modes are described well in other threads.
New version now now with support of the latest firmware I hope...

What program language did you use ?
Best regards
I use Delphi 2005. The best choice for fast programming Win32 applications with GUI... But older Delphi versions were more user friendly... Telnet interface is ICS from Overbyte.
