wireless network and gateway at the same time?

I now use the WL500g as a wireless internet gateway, print server and fot ftp. There are two laptops connected (wifi) and a desktop (wired).

I would like to install a home network through the WL500, while not losing the internet gateway function. Is this possible? I don't fully understand the different options in the tab "System Setup - Operation Mode" of the setup page. The radio button "Home gateway" is now marked. Should I use one of the other options? Router? Access point?

I installed shared folders, but on "My network" I can't see any of the other computers appearing.

What should I do next to create a local network?

    frimware is: 1.9.2.7-6b

    Cheers,
    René

There is nothing to do on the wl500g side.
You've to configure your Windows boxes and firewalls on the PCs.

Thanks Oleg, I'll do just that.
Thanks for your reply & keep up the good work.
    I admire your firmware programming!
