    Can't acces to harddrive

    Hi,
    wit Asus Firmware WLHDD_1.2.3.4_CN.trx
    i can acces to diskdrive by typing \\192.168.1.1.
    But not with the latest firmware WLHDD-1.9.2.7-6b.trx.


    Both times the ip-adrres of wl-hd is 192.168.1.1

    What is wrong?

    Make sure you have enabled samba demo mode and share in the webpage. The you will have acces to
    192.168.1.1\share$

    Well, samba is for sharing......
    Why did you install Oleg's fw? What do you want to do?
    For just plain functionality as harddiskspace(sharing) and wireless use, stick with the original fw. Otherwise, first search the forum, and read the tutorials at macsat.com. That will be a good starting point, and you will be able to explain better what's going wrong.
