Probably fixed printer oops problems - test3

Guys, finally it's seems I've found an error in the ASUS stuff. Please try using this firmware. Hopefully it will fix kernel oopses. Please let me know if it's working now.

    Rootfs is here

    Regards, Oleg.

    Unhappy

    Was even worse :-(
Looking in the log (attached), it has some memory problems. Had to reset and do a recover to get it working again.

I think you got a memory problem. It did not detect all memory

    Jan 1 01:00:14 WL500g user.warn klogd: Determined physical RAM map:\
    Jan 1 01:00:14 WL500g user.warn klogd: memory: 00700000 @ 00000000 (usable)\
    J

I dunno if that's a device issue or a firmware issue. I had it a couple of times, and switching off the device for a minute did miracles.

Power off router for several minutes. It's a "feature" of the broadcom memory size detection algorithm. Once the memory get's cleared it will boot normally.

As the test4 firmware has solved the problem I have had with my EPSON Stylus 740 printer,
I was wondering if it is possible to get the 1.7.5.6-test4 rootfs ?

    Regards, Steen

There is no printing attempts shown in the log. Have you read and followed the instructions? Please note, ASUS windows stuff does not work with custom firmwares.

I'm really sorry but I can't do anything with that. LPT printing stuff is still not published by ASUS, so I can't even figure out what happens inside their stuff.
    Log looks fine.
