    USB SoundDevice on WL-HDD

    Hi,

is it possible to make a USB soundcard run on the WL-HDD USB port ?
    Anyone did that?

    Thank you

    Pretty simple

Sorry for the late reply -- just joined the forums. Sound on the WL-HDD is straightforward, since the Linux core sound modules are pretty ... modular. What's also nice is that the WL-HDD has enough CPU power to decode MP3 with madplay and output that audio over USB. Hm... and a hard drive too, you say. Intriguing, eh?

    Hi ppx,

yes its possible (i have an usb hub with sound from Hongkong). You can also have a web interface for playing your mp3 files. Its pretty cool...
But i would suggest a Neuston or Auvisio Media box. Maybe the Hauppauge MediaMVP also works...(its very small)
