Manually change the print port in properties of your installed usb printer.
For inspiration you may install another printer from the list.
P.S. I don't know MacOS details.
Hi.
I've tried setting up an HP deskjet 880C as a shared printer using the USB port on an Asus WL500g.
I went to Add new printer, IP-printing (the IP of the router), entered LPRServer as Queue-Name but I can't find a driver that matches my printer. There are lots of Laserjets and other printers listed but not a single Deskjet.
When the printer is connected directly to the Mac's USB port it easily identifies it as a Deskjet 880C.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance, Maxven

Hi anarchist.
Thanks for your advice but I don't think that can be done in Mac OSX.
I searched the forum before posting my question and from other posts it sounds like IP-printing is the way to go.
Now if I could just make it work....
