Is is possible to make the WL500g an iSCSI Target?

Anyone has tried or will try to turn the WL500g or WLHDD into an iSCSI Target? I know there is an open source iSCSI Target software available for Linux (http://iscsitarget.sourceforge.net). However, I don't know whether it can be fitted into the WL500g box. I know very little about linux programming. Any help or info are welcome.

Excerpt from the IET FAQ: "We support only 2.6 kernels." The current ASUS / Oleg custom firmware is 2.4 based, so it won't work. (Unless someone backports it)
