it is and it isn't

if you are looking for a wl-hdd based firmware you firmware 1.2.3.4 is the latest
if you are looking for a wl-500g based firmware you need the firmware from Oleg

1. I could flash the OLEG Firmware under the Web-Gui of the Original Firmware
2. Test if I like or not
3. If something is missing I could flash the Original Asus 1.2.3.4 Firmware under the Web-Gui of the custom OLEG Firmware

first question -> yes as they are not part of the wl500g firmware (500g is nothing)

q1 > No
q2 > yes
q3 > No

you have to use firmware restoration util (supplied on cd or asus download site) see manual or search on how to use that

finally got round to testing olegs myself - but can't find the install instructions or manual on this site - perhaps my search skills are just dumb.

ok - I see, just normal web interface upload using official firmware using no username and password: admin. My odd argos webcam doesn't work, but then again it barely works on anything (£4.99 for two, so who cares?)

ok ... i just flash my WL-HDD with this firmware and i can
log in to the menu, everything is fine
however i don't see any menu for my IDE hard disk
i search also in winxp for "WL-HDD" or search by IP, but couldn't find
i enable samba also nfs, but still couldn't see my hard disk
can anybody help me??
