Webcam Problems

Hello everybody.

I've got a WL500g Premium (V1) with Oleg's firmware 1.9.2.7 (latest from googlecode). Until this morning it was 1.9.2.7-d-r2624, now it is 1.9.2.7-rtn-r3497.
Right now in the bottom USB slot is a 1GB flash stick that I use for storage, the top port is used for webcam.
I've tried a lot of webcams and none of them seem to work.
I've tried the following:

• Creative Live! Cam Vista IM (VF0260)
• Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000
• Logitech QuickCam Express Messenger (current)

I've tried all drivers (PWC & OV51 in 1.9.2.7-d, MJPEG & YUV in 1.9.2.7-rtn), each time pressing Apply and then Finish, Save & Restart. Each time pressing preview or accessing the webpage via http://192.168.1.1:7776 after the reboot says the same:
"WL500g.Premium Web Camera" and an undisplayable <IMG> with alt="Image is not ready"

If I do lsusb I get

I have attached the full ouput of lsusb -v.

I don't know what to check in console to see if it is working. Do you have any ideas?

Try to use a webcam that the Linux UVC driver supports (I have good experience with UVC):
