    Question Syslog.log

Forgive me, but what happens to the file syslog.log located in /tmp? I have an Asus RT-N16 with firmware RT-N16-1.9.2.7-rtn-r2274

I guess the log continues to increase in size as more and more get logged!?

Will it be deleted when the size gets to big?

I believe that /tmp is stored in the nvram? Am I correct?

Can anyone provide me with their knowlegde?

    THX

it will log to a certain size.
then the file will be renamed to syslog.log.0 (if I'm not mistaken)
then the system will continue to log to a new syslog.log.

So no, it will not fill up your entire /tmp directory, wich is located in RAM, unless you save it to nvram
So it'll only take a few KB
