Начнем с того, что DIR-320 я купил, чтобы над ним поизгаляться и выжать максимум возможного. В результате изучения gpv2 обнаружилось, что в нем стоит двухпортовый хаб. А чего бы нам не приделать 4х портовый в DIR-320? Получаем: два порта снаружи и один внутри для флешки (/opt). Ну и при желании можно восстановить работоспособность существующего порта на задней стенке. Предупреждаю сразу - кто не дружит с паяльником не рискуйте делать мой вариант.
Берем самый маленький USB HUB 4x. Мне попался такой. Сначала, не разбирая хаб проверим, на всякий случай, опознается ли он роутером.

Попытаюсь объяснить...
Какой Вам хаб попадется я не могу знать, поэтому в схеме хаба придется разобраться самим.
В принципе, достаточно подключить хаб по схеме в красном квадрате:
+5В, GND, D-, D+ . Ничего не перерезаем!!! Тогда будет у Вас 2USB снаружи и 2USB внутри. В таком случае в разъем на задней панели ничего включать нельзя!
Если разъем на задней панели, всё же, хочется задействовать, тогда -
Вход хаба подключаем до разреза D-,D+ (красный овал *). Один из портов хаба (я отпаял разъем) заводим на разъем задней панели. Рядом с ним, на той стороне, надо перерезать дорожки, чтобы, оставшиеся после разреза (*) проводники, не были как антенны. Пока не порезал - этот разъем глючил.
Внимание! (*) Очень тонкие дорожки. Для экстремалов.
Мне помогают Паяльная Станция и микроскоп.
Обязательно место пайки (*) закрепить клеем!!

Вообще, я это и хотел сказать. Например, лично мне не хватает информации о том, как правильно и в какой последовательности делается апгрейд памяти на DIR-320 до 64 мб. Видел ваш пост с фотографиями, где была информация об увеличении оперативной памяти, но там в кратце. В целом сообщений по модингу DIR-320 много, но они находятся в отдельных темах и поиск необходимой информации из-за этого усложняется. Поэтому хорошо бы оформить отдельную тему, и как вы предложили назвать ее:
