Transmission 1.80 (2010/01/20) ¶

This is a huge listen-to-the-users release -- it uses 103 ideas from users, including 44 enhancements, 26 bugfixes and 33 more bugfixes during the beta tests. Thanks to everyone involved for helping to improve Transmission.

Daemon ¶

* When running as a daemon, send log messages to syslog
* Reload settings.json when receiving SIGHUP
* transmission-remote now allows per-torrent speed limits to be set

Web Client ¶

* Add speed limit "turtle mode" support
* Double-clicking a torrent opens/closes the torrent inspector
* Add "Start When Added" checkbox when adding torrents
* Add Select All / Deselect All buttons to the file inspector
* Add version information to the preferences dialog
* Ensure the context menu goes away when clicking on torrents
* Fix bug that obscured part of the context menu

Hi,

nein, 1.76 ist die neuste (hier: http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/op...g/cross/stable) verfügbare Version zurzeit.

EDIT 23.01.2010 12:06: seit wenigen Stunden wurde 1.80 eingestellt

Hi,

aktuelle Version ist 1.81. Was der Kollege nicht bedacht hat ist, dass diese nicht direkt als optware-Package verfügbar sein wird.

Somit ist 1.81 die aktuelle Version für den Build auf dem Router (das funktioniert übrigens auch).
Und dies ist die aktuelle ipkg-Version:

Edit: So der autobuilder des optware-Servers ist nachgezogen. Aktuelle Version:

V. 1.83 ist jetzt im IPKG-Repository und kann installiert werden.

EDIT: ich sehe gerade, die V. 1.83 ist wirklich sehr gesprächig und wenn ich den Changelog von der 1.80 oben nochmal durchlese war das anscheinend schon bei 1.80 der Fall... Sie knallt den Syslog mit irgendwelchen Meldungen voll, die ich persönlich nicht unbedingt sehen will. Weiß schon jemand, wie man das abstellen kann?

inzwischen gibts schon 1.92

in der settings.json schreibt Transmission immerhin nur errors ins syslog. Aber wie kann man verhindern, dass Transmissoin errors ins syslog schreibt?

Hey, das ist eine gute Info, ich wäre ja schon froh, wenn nur Errors im Syslog stehen würden. So sehe ich die anderen Meldungen quasi gar nicht. Transmission verdrängt alles.

P.S.:

Options

Advanced
...
message-level: Number (1 = Error, 2 = Info, 3 = Debug, default = 2)

das heisst wohl, dass man die Fehler als das mindesete im Log haben muss. Sonst habe ich auch keine passenden Optionen gefunden.
