Reply With Quotereset ? or restored defaults..?

I have fw 1.9.2.7 crx (x=?). Since today I cannot enter my wl-500g anymore. I get a purple screen with the notification: 401 unauthorized. Authorization required.
I have reset the machine. I even get wireless connection immediatly.
What options do I have. I have searched the forum and nobody had this ever before (?).
Please help me.

restored defaults... I pushed restore while I plugged the powercord in.

while it is already powered on press and hold restore button and wait until power led goes out once and release restore button, then it should restore settings to defaults

Did it, same result. By the way, The reason I wanted to reset is that suddenly I was not able to enter my wl-500g because of the purple screen with mentioned message.

In IE6 I first tried it with cleared cache, cookies and offline-bells. Same result. Logged in with FireFox and I don't have to buy another WL. I would have waited for the WL-700G.
