Eggdrop Ctcp/telnet crash

hi, i'm encountering problems with eggdrop: when i try to connect to my bot via dcc or telnet it crashes, so i have to restart it again.
I tryed 1.6.17 and 1.6.19, with the same results.
My port is properly forwarded.

Compiled without extensive memory debugging (sorry).
Open sockets: 7 (listen), 1, 9, 12, 13 (outbuf: 00000D), 14 (file), done.

any advice?
