    Question optimum configuration for wireless

    Hello.

I'm new to this forum and also a fresh owner of a Wl-500gx (Deluxe).
I have a laptop with broadcom wifi card (airforce 4318 model - latest drivers) running Win 7 RC.
    I upgraded to Oleg's latest firmware 1.9.7-10.
I want to know what are optimal settings to have highest download rate.
    Currently I get ~ 1.5 MBps.

Do you mean Megabyte or Megabit per second?
    WAN-LAN or WAN-Wifi or LAN-Wifi traffic?
I think the maximum bandwidth for routed traffic is about 2 MByte/sec on such devices. The LAN-Wifi bridge is somewhat faster.
Access to USB media is even slower.

With Afterburner enabled shouldn't be faster?
