    Yes.
It's our modification of Oleg's firmware to support USB GTRAN modem for CDMA EV-DO which runs on 450MHz. This wireless technology is only in Czech republic.

Wow, it looks like it may help my networking problem, does the VPN allow me access to a usb disk in the router?

Also, is the interface in English?

  5. #5
No. It's only in czech because CDMA is only in czech. USB disk is accessible via FTP.

    is it english?

is the firmware interface in english?
    if not, any english version?

will Oleg's fw ever support gprs/cdma modem?

i think it'll be great to put gprs/cdma modem support into fw.

my plan is to plug my gprs/cdma modem into wl500g/x and put it on my car with a modified power supply.
so i'd got a truely mobile hotspot. anywhere you see my car you can use the hotspot...

Dial on Demand for CDMA needed

Unfortunaelly the .cz firmware for wl-500gx contains a ppp not compiled with support for active-filter.

I guess even using iptable I still not able to stop internet since idle time is never reached due to misc incoming packages.

Could it be possible to include ppp filtering in a new firmware or provide a ppp package with support for acrive-filter (I'm interested in outbound keyword).

Please help me or provide me an alternative to be able to ignore incoming packets when dial on demand is used with pppd.

    Thanks a lot

So has a CDMA package been developed for Oleg's software?

Can't really try Oleg's as I'm CDMA dependant for the internet.

    CNU-550, CDMA for WL500gx

    Hi Everyone,

    I was visiting http://koppel.cz/cdmawifi/download/1...f-USB-1.64.trx,
and found out that they have a new soft for WL500g. This soft allows to plug 2 CDMA modem and have internet VIA WIFI. There are 2 models that are supported by this software. AnydataADU-E100H and one more model. I use C-Montech CNU-550. Can anybody help to modify the 1.9.2.7-7f-USB-1.64.trx in a such way that my modem will work.
WL500GX recognizes the modem very well. Here is the log

I think you better ask the person who wrote this firmware. He speaks very good english.
