  2. #47
    Anyone bought this yet?

Do you have any benchmark results on Filetransfer? Are very interested in seing USB File transfer performance.

And what about OLEG? (Is he around to comment on if firmware will be available??).

Can not seem to find the router in retail anywhere in Denmark.....maybe i'll will just have to wait in patience.

it is not out for sale yet!
they only put up the page and the downloads
which is a sign of this router coming out very soon

in fact, the dutch price compare site for pc's and stuff already made a item on it:
    http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/242860/asus-rt-n16.html
    no shops are added yet...

I have requested price for it, perhaps I'll hear it tomorrow
normal shipping time from asus taiwan would be around 2 weeks if I'm right

should I count you in for a RT-N16 WPTE ?

that's a good proposal, but I would first want to know a bit more about the price
but you're saying they probably ship it in a few days?

I have no clue when it will be shipped.. but I can even buy spareparts now most distri's do not even want to do that

but WL-500w sucks for one reason, and that are the attached antenna's
I need the ability to connect an outdoor antenna to it

and the WL500gP(v1) is not for sale anymore..

    Hi guys,
sorry if my question is answered somewhere (link please), but what is difference between this, RT-N16 and RT-N15 router except fact that RT-N15 has no USB ports? Because i need new router (my old good 500g Deluxe went to electronic heaven ), i need it quickly and USB ports are not problem (1 year i didnt attached USB device), but on other side, i dont want to miss some good features from N16 (if there is any difference)

EDIT: oh, ok, i found some reviews and N15 has similar to N16 only name Its totally different product, unfortunatelly not so good like N16 (it not means "bad", it is just average...)

GUI is "improved" for newbies only It VERY slowly, most parameters can't be changed rapidly.

Previously I can tune paramers on N-page, press "Apply", tune paramers on N+1-page, press "Apply", ...., press "Finish" & reboot. In new GUI, a little amount of parameters can be changed on-the-fly, but most of them requires reboot like in old GUI, BUT there is no button "Apply", only "Finish". So, router reboots after every tuned page (GUI didn't show this, only big delay meter)!

Actually, several params doesn't require reboot (firewal related), but they are too few
