There's no intergrated modem in wl-500w.

what do you mean under "modem"? ADSL? dial-up?
if ADSL --- then generally any adsl modem/router with ethernet output will fit it (adsl hardware may differ from country to country).

can you give the name of a cheap one? I really can't find one...
there're too many adsl modem models shipped worldwide to write any.
couldn't it be better to call your ISP and ask him for.

My preference is for something with a Broadcom chipset
eg a good and cheap one is a TP Link TD8810
