transmission seems to support executing a global script after torrent completion: https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/1796
BUT (a big one), the free opensource version of unrar does not support rar 3.0 archives as far as I know... and most of the archives today are 3.0

    No, not at all!
it was originally designed for windows: http://rarlabs.com/
that's why they call it winrar I guess

    you can install unrar tho:
    ipkg install unrar
it won't work with all archives

Access transmission from phone browser or ssh?

When I try to access transmission interface from my HTC Desire it takes so long ,or no success at all (most of time).I am using Dolphin HD browser.
How can I start/stop transmission from ssh ( no problem to connect) ?
Or should I use different browser for Desire?

I have a desire hd, and for me the build in browser is slow as well... I'm quite used to opera browser because I used to have windows mobile.
opera loads it at a normal speed

Also, if you look at the market place and search for "remote transmission" you can use it an an app, didn't tried that tho

    Thanks!
Remote transmission from market did the trick! It is beta release, and can only start/stop torrents, but that is what i need.
Do you use opera mini or opera mobile ?
Main reason for this is that I had severe power failures, and if transmission works, after turning on again ,performs endless checks.I want to prevent that by pausing torrents ,if I am at home.

The mini version usually works on java or something... you don't really want that

    power problems?
you've got those special boxes with batteries to prevent hardware damages during power outtage
a bit overkill for your router probably
But makin your own laptop-like battery is quite easy

I have ups if that is what you ment by "box"
Desktop works for about 20 minutes on it, but when destop is off router turns off after about 1 min.
    Thanks man!

Edit :I've found "transdroid" it just works !
